Better lives.

Pacific Developmental Pathways Ltd. (Pathways) was created in 1993 to provide adult day services to people with intellectual disabilities, with the belief that all people can be active members of their community. The Pathways’ program is centred around the 5 domains of: education, employment, living skills, leisure and health. Pathways’ approach is unique because their programs are specifically tailored to the individual’s interests and life goals. By balancing those 5 domains with each client’s unique interests and goals, Pathways is able to provide meaningful days - and, ultimately, more meaningful lives for their clients and their families, their employees and the community at large. They needed an agency who could transform their values into a purposeful brand, and they chose to partner with Studiothink.

Meaningful organization. Meaningful brand.

The primary goal of the brand was based on the values of Pacific Developmental Pathways. It would showcase the human side of things. Interacting with the community, living full lives, being productive and valued. Both the copy and the images used related to their goals. In addition, the design was kept simple, elegant and clean, and the font was designed to be easy to ready for anyone with disabilities. The website would showcase Pathways’ unique approach of individualized programs and demonstrate their values of inclusion—treating people of all abilities equally and knowing that everyone can and should contribute to the community. Throughout the site, empowering lifestyle photos should be used to portray a “day in the life” of a Pathways participant.
