Real estate in real-time, anywhere.
Creating a brand from nothing is a challenge, especially when it’s for a startup product that’s still in development. For this Surrey tech company, the concept that eventually became SmartShow was a real estate showing tool. The app would use real-time communications technologies based on WebRTC to offer remote home buyers the opportunity to view properties as if they were seeing them in person. A Realtor or local buyer would pop on a pair of SmartGlasses, or use their smartphone, and start streaming. Buyers located anywhere in the world could tune in and view the property and interact with the Realtor with two-way communication. After the showing, a recording was saved so the remote buyers could review it anytime and share it with friends.
Creating a smart brand.
Studiothink met the developers of SmartShow to hear their vision for the new company. Going off just those conversations, Studiothink set out to create a brand that would appeal to real estate agents and consumers. The brand needed to be clear to both target markets, and the website needed to be simple to use. Studiothink chose a bright magenta colour to draw attention immediately, and incorporated infographics, video, and app UI design to create a complete brand launch for SmartShow, including naming, marketing management and strategy, copywriting, logo design, website design and printed material collateral.
